You may already know my Nova sounds like a light sabre on heat, and I thought I may be the wheel bearings, however a m8 of mine told me that it could be one of the engine mounts.
Could he be right?
The noise is very loud and vibrates the car above 30mph, when I turn sharply to the left or at high speed the noise and vibration stops. but has no effect on right turns! The Noise can only be heard from the inside and has been describe as ' sounding like Chevvy Nova V8 without the V8'
I really want this sorting out, I can hardly hear what people say to me when I'm driving. the radio has to go to 2/3 volume so i can hear it.
The cars a 1992 SR and when it was 2 years old has a 'shunt' on the front O/S.
