Warped block

Would have put this in mechanical but I'm sure it won't take long to answer and It isn't Nova related...

My mates Mazda Familia GTR done the head gasket, so we stripped it and my mate built it back up after the head was skimmed. Same symptons still.

Now he tells me the block is warped 0.10mm. Surely that's more than you can get away with?

FFS, he does this all of the time when we are attempting to problem solve etc. Gives me half a story, Why bolt it back up with a possible warped block?!
If I hadn't been helping a mate out with his bitch of an MR2 then I would have known all of the above.
