the new batman film was rather good
"rec" looked quite good for a horror film.

its not scary, worst actors ever. no real point to the film apart form they get lost in the woods and some stick figures get made while there sleeping

there is a slight scary bit at the end. but thats about it.

I saw the Dark Knight last night, awesome film. Heath Ledger as the joker lives upto all the hype, he was definately very suited to the character.

Vantage Point is also very good, I thought the ending would have been better though?

I'm with you on both points there Breeny.

Heath Ledger was awesome as the joker. I went in sceptical after all the hype about him deserving the oscar etc but he was absolutely believable as the joker and you just cant see him as anything else.

As for vantage point... i think if it did the rewind one less time it would have improved it a bit, you get to the stage where your ass goes numb and you just want it to end now please, which then clouds the ending. I do think it needs a bigger ending after all the build up - but the build up is very cleverly done.
