strange gurgling

Evening all,

i recently bought a 1.2i j reg nova, it had a few burst radiator hoses. They've been replaced. However i seem to have a strange gurling sound from the engine during tick over.

The car drives ok, but i was wondering if anyone had any ideas what it could be?

Youve got an air lock in the coolant system.

Potentially yes. Bleed it out.

also it could be head gasket on the way out...

If it keeps blowing pipes then I would say head gasket as well.

bung a new thermostat in it as well.
