can anyone help me ..i got insured on wednesday and i asked them to send my citificate out straight away so i can get road tax on my car.

and so far it still hasnt arrived :x so can i go to the post office and explain to them what is happening ..could the post office then ring up my insurance company and make sure i am insured or will i have to wait until my citificate comes though?

Hope not i have waited 17 yrs for this day arg..

You should immediately of received a Cover Note from your insurance company until the official documents are ready.

(This is basically a temporary certificate of motor insurance)

This is acceptable when you are buying your road fund licence, but you have to fill out a separate form i think.
