Anyone interested in a trackday this sunday at bruntingthorpe?(leicestershire)
cost ?30 per car, track hired 9-5
you would need to be able to get there for 9am
THIS IS FOR VAUXHALLS ONLY!
poss mag feature(only possible though)
post below if your going so we can look for you
Track time from 9.00 - 5.00 for 30squids? Got to be done. I'm def. gonna go!!!! Plus its the 1 place where you can get top speeds cos its got a bonkers long straight

compared to ?20 for 15mins at trax its a bargain
about 20-30 cars so far, plenty of 1.4 and 1.6s so dont worry if you havent a 2.0 or big power
pcc(png) are sending someone down to take photos, still waiting on poss of a mag though.
Directions:
Take M1 to J20
Turn East onto A4304 towards Market Harborough
After about 3 or 4 miles turn left onto B5414 (opposite petrol station)
After about 2 miles you'll come to the end of the road, turn left onto
A5199.
After about another two miles there's a brown sign pointing left to
Bruntingthorpe Ind Est, take that left.
After about a mile you'll see Bruntingthorpe Ind Est on the left, go
past it.
When you get to the sharp 90 degree right bend in the road, do a left
turn and follow the sign towards Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground. Turn
right and report to the security hut
Clint (organiser) will be there to greet you get there for 9am please track session starts at 10 there will be forms to fill in etc b4 we start, you also wont be made to go against 1.0s etc as will run in classes.
bruntingthorpe has a 2.0 mile straight and 3mile track section back up with loadssss of run off areas and the track is wide too.

do you need insurance or any specialist equipment?
me feels mmy new engine setup could do with a bash
no but your own insurance wont be valid

Good day out? (I was in the Red Astra GTE 8v).
Some people had more nerve than me on the corners, but I was making up for it later in the day.
