I was wondering if anyone could tell me what a CV joint is? If it clicks what could be wrong anything serious??

A CV joint means constant velocity joint. It means when u go around a corner it allows ur wheels to turn at the correct speed. The outside wheel is travelling further. If it clicks then it's probaly worn out and needs replacing.

The cv joint onl transfers power from the driveshaft to the hub, if it clicks it`s knackered, if it fails under hard acceleration your car will pull violently to one side! not nice. They`re a bit fiddly and messy to change but not that difficult, also change the cv boot at the same time, you might as well while you`re in there.
