On the way back from the Scottish meet today - weather nice and broody. Thought I;d stop off and take a few snaps on my SR.

These have been chopped slightly to how the car will look when finished (just the wheels and vinyl adjusted)

Vaughan - nah - about 15 mins..

Ben - cheers - I used a graduating ND filter on my lens - meant the sky got nice n dark without blowing out the rest of the image...

pics look really good Ade, the Nova will look spot on once you get it like that

the filter you used makes it look like the typical Scottish weather we've been getting recently, sunshine one minute, next its dull and rainy lol

Another thing I noticed about the SR Ade; It has very wide tyres on it for being 14" wheels

I'd suggest some 175/65/14's or 185/55/14's - Make it look far better than those wide/chunky things :)

Only an idea though, top work all the same

Amazing effect on the sky, car looks ace too, though I mirror Vaughan's opinion on the tyres, not helped by the ride height either.

Lovely car though, my fave type of Nova - white mk1 SR.

tyres are weird on mine. the walls are pure curved! sstops the alloys getting scuffed

good tread though so ill leave them for now. considering lowering a tad no more than 40mm.

30-40mm drop is all I'd do tbh.

'Decked' is a posh word for knackered.

and usually ends up looking broken! 60/40 looks good, but i wouldnt go any lower at all, looks a bit daft because the rear wheels disapear up the arches but you cant do that to the front so it ends up looking all back heavy.

craig - you sig makes me chuckle
