not really a tech post however if you look under general forum about 3/4 down the page there was a lad looking for quotes for a 1ltr.

I posted a link to about 30 insurance companies - all pretty good. I use Liverpool Victoria - very good

ive heard liverpool-victoria are v good. Elephant.co.uk is meant to be good when you declare mods as they do not add much on. However the mods are no insured so if you have a crash you get a standard car back :(

damn, that's expensive. is that fully comp or something? mine's a 1.2, lowered 60mm which has been declared, 3rd party fire and theft, 1 years ncb, ?630. it was ?800 odd before my ncb.

still, ?1668 is incredibly high. have you got a large voluntary excess on that?

Yeah that is under my mum, but thats the only way you can do it at 17 without paying silly money. There was only 50 quid difference between thrid party, and fully comp.
