I want to re-spray the rocker cover/cam cover and manifold a nice new colour. what paint do i get? theres a certain type isnt there, for heat resistance? thanks. . :thumb:
edit: (exhaust manifold)
You can get 'very hot temperature (VHT) paint' for use on exhaust manifolds. I used that on mine when I first fitted it but it's all come off now.
You could use that on your rocker cover too, but I used normal tinned paint and it's been fine.

For the rocker cover normal lacquer should be fine but you wont need it for the manifold

Hammerite smooth and a good laquer should be good enough to use on the rocker cover and cam cover. You gcould always heat wrap your manifold with heat tape instead of painting it??!!
