I always thought it was just an inspection cover, i assume you mean the one can change the clutch through?

I wouldnt have thought it would fail mot but wouldnt be wise to run it without one just in case some random foreign object decides to enter your clutch/flywheel whilst driving!

It wont fail mot on that i dont think.
Theres nothing in the manual about having a flywheel cover.

Ahh but if the tester sticks his hand in there while the engines running......

Also it stops any water getting on the clutch when going through puddles, and the mud at santa pod!

Flywheel cover, i haven't had one on mine since i put it on the road, never had any probs with it or at MOT time, i have been meaning to get one but just never got around to it !!
If you manage to find one any chance of borrowing it so i can use it as a template to make one !! :thumb:

You'd be surprised, I once worked in a garage with a tester who forgot the wiper arms were up when he opened the bonnet to get the chassis number, they cracked the screen when they were forced down by the bonnet!
