A pair of old Nova seats

I'm after a pair of crappy standard nova seats with good runners.. I lost mine when the old unit I was working on the car at got cleared out by the land-lord :(

If theres anyone local to Reading/berkshire who has a pair I could buy or have I would be very grateful :)

not looking for anything special just some ****ty old seats I can cut up.

Do you need covers on them Davey? got some sr ones that will be bare foam if thats any use or good gte/sri ones but would want sensible cash for them.

I got a set of subframes and seats from a SR... seats are fecked, so was just gonna bin the whole lot.
i can post subframes to u for 10quid.

can do you runners no probs boss. Can't get them to you at the mo, had a bit of an accident at work yesterday so wont be venturing too far for a week or 2. How quickly do you need them? Can get them to Stu if that helps?

I'm not as desperate as I was now mate, I've kind of come to terms with the fact the car wont be ready for trax :(

Dave.. the box with subframes went today, i couldnt find the handles to lift the slides, but everything else is there.. should see it at somepoint tomorrow or friday first thing..
If its not arrived, check 4 a DHL "we tried but you werent in msg" in ur letterbox.

When you say the handles do you just mean the plastic bits on the end?

i mean the handles underneath for the sliders to move the seats back and forward .. will have to make something up or find some spares... u will see what i mean when u get them.

Hmmm.. Thanks for the thought mate but they arent exactly what I was after.

Could have saved yourself the agro of posting them and saved me 10 quid by telling me they were well and truely shafted..

Like i say, i was gonna bin them, just thought u was wanting to chop them up.. will b fine if u get a cleaning brush/wheel on a grinder and give it 20mins... shiney and rust free. I cleaned up stuff thats worse than that b4.

To be fair, I'd have expected worse from being sat outside in UK weather 4 3yrs... Freebies mate.

I know I only paid the postage but I kind of was looking for something that I could actually use; they are way past saving, its not possible to split the sliders without breaking them so it seems pretty pointless for the sake a few £.... plus the slider handle mechanism is non-existant which is the only point of using factory subframes, otherwise I'd just fix them straight to the floor pan...

Took me a while but I've given them a new lease of life:

They are one and the same.. Total and utter ball ache, I did throw them on the scrap pile but after scouring the scrapyard while I was getting my engine I couldnt find any others :(

So last night I fished them out of the scrap pile and started stripping. Hopefully the adjuster bar on the front is forward enough, I'll make up the adapter plates for the seats tonight and they should look good :)
