Good find - certainly got some steam behind it ! - love the way it pulls away from the incar camera shot from the car behind.

Looks to handle pretty well - do I see a rear diff in the footage - front engined rear wheel drive ?

Its got a bit of body roll!could that be down to worn shocks/springs or a 2.0ltr under the hood!?

I'd have thought it's just too softly sprung for tarmac rallying

it is a 2.0 16v redtop in the nova on twin 45's with mbe management, that was my boss's car and now belongs to someone else, it had a jag diff as we needed the wieght in the back as it was just too light on the back end and had to sprung really soft to get it bed down, from memory it was running about 240 bhp, was a great car and really well put together, its still about doing a few tarmac rallys with a different engine i believe, hope that helps

Proof indeed that if you want more predictable handing & traction lower spring rates are better. Ace car really impressive :D

Darrions are proper cars. They flatter your driving as well, people ive spoken to who have driven them rekon theres very little to equal their handling performance, on tarmac OR gravel :)

millington diamon'd are the best engine for a kit car/mk2 escort ect ect imo..

seen a few darriens doing tramac rallies..they are quick!

love to see them along with some "ol 6r4's"
