Tax rebate

Got told at work today that if your in full time edumacation you shouldnt get taxed? I got taxed £79.20 on £814.45, could i claim any back? If so how would i go about it? :confused: Ive been there 2 years now and getting the same tax every payday! :thumb:

I was taxed whilst in full time education, but claimed it back at the end of the financial year. That was a few years back now though mind you.

Um not sure, would it be on the P60? (i think thats what its called, end of year jobbie?)

Can i claim at any point during the financial year? I herd the 'claim' is valid for up to 5 years?

should have filled in a P38 before the first pay packet.

call your local tax office and ask for a rebate form
