Thanks everyone who took the time to reply.

after much deliberation ive decided its not worth the hassle of getting a facelift and then a bodykit, respray etc.

ive decided to get a 91+ nova and go from there......

i was going to do it to my nova because the engine WAS good, i stress the was because ive thrashed the car a lot since ive had it......lol, before me it had two lady owners from new, but oh well all good things come to an end.

thanks again

Makes far more sense like that mate, its not like mk2 novas are mega expensive or anything, besides, i like the mk1 so im glad that yet another one isnt getting trashed by being made to look like a mk2!

saved yerself some work then!

if you had gone for mk2 facelift you would have also needed the mk2 front bumper carriage cos the mk1 one is wider the legs that tie it to the chassis are shorter (or longer - one of the 2!)
