How do i know what head unit will fit?

I still have the standard head unit in my j-reg 1.2 1991 mk2 vauxhall nova merit. Does any head unit fit in or do they have different connecters??

Nearly all come with an adapter lead with an ISO plug on them, so normally plug straight in (red and yellow wires normally need swapping over). If you don't have the ISO plug in the car though, you can either buy one to put in or cut the plug off and use wire it in that way.

Other than that just make sure you get a single-DIN size one.

Or just wire it in with a new loom - all you need is power, earth, speaker wires and amp/RCA/remote if you have an amplifier :)

^ as above ^ i always find it easyer and save trying to fit loads of wires/blocks in behind the head unit...
