wot style exhasut pipe??

im gettin a powerflow soon, but carnt decide wot size or shape exhast to get. i want the best sound possible from an SRI, is it the rule that the larger the pipe the better sound, or is it the opposite?? opinions and help pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease!! ;)

I had a sportex twin 3 inch backbox on my car and it was well loud but it was constantly rubbing on the tyre so I had to take it off :( jap style back boxes are supposed to be loud arn't they ???
