nope. i'm not a club member and mine works. and Tilly was in earlier and she isnt a club member, or admin, so tis not that.

Dunno. Dodgy characters in your username or something maybe? does it have spaces??

My guess is because the name starts with a number.

Edit: Just had a quick play in it now, I am correct.

Edit2: When it fails with your nickname, try typing '/nick <newnickname>' to change your name and then '/join #pngclub'

it doesnt connect me becuase of my username and coz im not connected it doesnt let me change the nickname to something acceptable
