how hard is it to change a starter motor on a gsi?

can it be done on my drive?

No harder than any other model, might have to jack the front up and work from underneath though.

Jack it up high, come in from underneath & use a ratchet with a long extension.

Dont forget to disconect the battery as it has a perm power supply to the starter and if you undo the live and catch the chassis or engine youl get a nice spark.
