wire on door lock

hjust been stripping my tigra and come to remove central locking and eletric windows i noticed a wire goes to the door lock barrel is this something to do with immobaliser? can it be removed? cheers ash

IIRC Its for the deadlocks. Yeah can do without it.

Has it got a standard vauxhall alarm on it? Dont quote me for it but i think the trigger for it is on the barrell
