can anyone name a scrap merchants in north wales or the north west region that is giving a really good price for bright copper, i dont just want people reeling off the name of every scrapyard they know, just the ones that give good money, theres always 1 that tries to out-price all the others

Its £150 a ton for mixed here as well, shall be loading up the van and taking a trip today some time. Have loads of ghey metal filing draw things to get rid of.

I got £200+ yesterday for a small selection of motors / brass and copper. The prices have gone down though since I last went :(

For aluminium we got 720 per tonne but this week it was down to 630 don't think its ever the same it all depends on how 'in demand' it is i think
P.s. if you bung the lads there a few quid you won't even have to unload it, bonus

has anyone else tried crazy ideas to get more weight? for instance a big ass water tank in the back of the van, which you simply empty at the bottom of the scrap yard while your throwing out your scrap? lol
or the classic, few lads hidden in the van then jump over the back wall unnoticed? lol
