wisewood
06-08-08, 11:03 AM
I used to work with Marg. Why were you eating toast with her?

Jack
06-08-08, 11:06 AM
I usually have cheerios, but I'm bored of them. Stole some of my sister's kellogs Crunchy Nut today :D

wisewood
06-08-08, 11:11 AM
lol freaky. My "cereal cupboard" contains Cheerios, Weetabix and Crunchy Nut

Panman
06-08-08, 11:17 AM

wisewood
06-08-08, 11:18 AM

Jack
06-08-08, 11:20 AM
Wisewood, can I employ you as my personal chef? lol

Thinking of cereals, whatever happened to Lucky Charms? I think you can still buy them in the US, I'm sure I remember seeing a website that could supply them...

Panman
06-08-08, 11:25 AM
Did'nt they find glass or something in them?

wisewood
06-08-08, 11:30 AM
Wisewood, can I employ you as my personal chef? lol

Yeah if you want lol or i could just give you the recipe, its DEAD simple lol

Panman
06-08-08, 11:33 AM
Vodka with everything.......

wisewood
06-08-08, 11:35 AM
Thats the joy of vodka. It did go with everything.

Top tip though. Use cheap vodka in your food, no point using expensive stuff.

Rexy
06-08-08, 11:35 AM

wisewood
06-08-08, 12:04 PM
cereal with "puffs" in the name = cereal for homosexuals. Fact. As per the big book of wisewood.

Panman
06-08-08, 02:33 PM
Large Steve, I do not agree with the above. Just incase you are large.

wisewood
06-08-08, 02:34 PM
Big book of wisewood is fact. Non believers shall suffer my wrath.

Panman
06-08-08, 02:37 PM
I believe to disbeleive.

wisewood
06-08-08, 02:39 PM
According to the big book of wisewood, that is allowed.

Panman
06-08-08, 02:44 PM
Phew!

Lauren
06-08-08, 02:52 PM
Large Steve, I do not agree with the above. Just incase you are large.

I think he has a large ego. That's about it. :)

wisewood

Martin
06-08-08, 03:04 PM
pfft ceral is for gayers Full stop >> . <<

6 hard Boiled eggs and a pint of milk is were its at

wisewood
06-08-08, 03:06 PM
Cooking yours eggs is ghey!!! Raw eggs is where its at. In fact, real men just catch the chicken and eat it, alive, feathers, beak, feet and all.

Panman
06-08-08, 03:17 PM
I have mine raw. 4 egg whites 2 bannanas 300m Soya milk blended. Does that make me tough then? I have my own chicken aswell (still alive though).

wisewood
06-08-08, 03:21 PM
What happens to the yolks??

brainsnova
06-08-08, 03:32 PM
cereal with "puffs" in the name = cereal for homosexuals. Fact. As per the big book of wisewood.

Is cornflakes ok to eat

wisewood
06-08-08, 03:34 PM
*consults the book*

big book of wisewood says no.

brainsnova
06-08-08, 03:38 PM
ok i ll skip breaky from now on

wisewood
06-08-08, 03:39 PM
That would also go against the word of the big book of wisewood. Breakfast IS the most important meal of the day. If you must skip breakfast, at least eat what ever you would have eaten for breakfast as a starter before your lunch.

Panman
06-08-08, 03:43 PM
Is'nt that a urban myth created by cereal companies??

wisewood
06-08-08, 03:46 PM
Nope. If you dont eat breakfast your metabolism slows down. Eat something small in the morning is best, and then your body continues to metabolise and uses up fat reserves after digesting the food.

Alex.
06-08-08, 03:57 PM
CRUNCHY NUT FTW!

lol the 1st sensilble thing that you've read from that book:thumb:

ade

fruit causes cancer. fact.

especially 5 a day!

Weetabix with water - now thats boggin - like baby food!

You should have summut bran orientated for breakfast - that way you have a nice solid healthy poo later on. If you dont you have a sloppy joe!

:thumb:

And dont drink "smoothies" - theyre really bad for you. The reason being is that fruit when eaten "normally" digests at different rates releasing the natuarl sugars slowly. You liquidize it all up the sugars desolve 50 times quicker and you cant burn it off so its stored as fat!

So your Innocent Smoothie isnt as innocent as they make out...

wisewood
06-08-08, 07:37 PM
But it tastes SO good!!!

Lynsey
06-08-08, 07:45 PM
I agree with ade, bran in the morning will keep you happy all day!
Anything brown is usually good in the morning (ooh er!) I had wholemeal toast with plum tomatoes this morning, which was nice :)

Lauren
07-08-08, 12:10 PM
I had a bowl of bran flakes at work. Oh the woes of being on a diet :(

wisewood
07-08-08, 12:12 PM
Should have got up earlier, done some exercise, and eaten something more nutricious. Bran flakes are good though - keep you nice and regular.

Lauren
07-08-08, 12:13 PM
Sorry, should have got up earlier and done some what???

wisewood
07-08-08, 12:18 PM
Perhaps that jogging thing or whatever it was you interupted to read text messages last night - thats good exercise. Apparently. Never tried myself lol

Lauren
07-08-08, 12:21 PM
Yeah, but I don't do enough of that really. My jogging partner is too lazy most of the time. ;)

wisewood
07-08-08, 12:30 PM
lol you wanna get yourself a backup

Ash
07-08-08, 07:03 PM
breakfast.....?

On the odd occasion I have time its a muffin or scrambled egg on toast, never really seen the point in cereals, it's like a made-up meal so someone can make money.

wisewood
07-08-08, 08:29 PM
cereal is a made up meal? or breakfast is?

You could argue that any meal during the day is made up and un necessary if you arent hungry at that time of the day lol

Lynsey
07-08-08, 09:38 PM
I had a bowl of bran flakes at work. Oh the woes of being on a diet :(

Ditto :(

I really, really want some crumpets and potato cakes though!

Lauren
07-08-08, 10:07 PM
Ditto :(

I really, really want some crumpets and potato cakes though!

Rexy
07-08-08, 10:23 PM

Breeny
07-08-08, 11:15 PM
Crumpets and Martmite rock!

As for Ready Brek, anyone remember when they did a chocolate one? That's the only one you'll catch me eating...

Tilly
08-08-08, 12:09 PM
I do ready brek with chocolate buttons melted and swirled in. if not the twins eat 3 weetabix and a mashed banana.
Marmite RULES

crunchy nut clusters mmmmm

wisewood
08-08-08, 12:10 PM
The twins eat 3 weetabix each, or between them? each seems a lot, i only have 3 myself lol and i'm a tank!

Tilly
08-08-08, 12:15 PM
no they share that. 3 and a banana. they can manage 2 each. they burn it off though, unlike you sitting at a desk all day

wisewood
08-08-08, 12:16 PM
Believe me i would much rather be running about on a beach while you sit keeping an eye on me lollol

Tilly
08-08-08, 12:18 PM
that what you think i do all day :o) sit on a beach whilst they build sandcastles. 8/10 for effort

wisewood
08-08-08, 12:19 PM
Thats what i'd do if i leaved near the beach. But i would also be eating fish and chips, and dohnuts from the harbour... or maybe a waffle with cream.

Tilly
08-08-08, 12:26 PM
ive not had waffles refuse to pay the money they charge (only packet onesnever freshly made)
fish and chips 1-2 a month.doughnuts rarely from the front

wisewood
08-08-08, 12:27 PM
I suppose i might get bored of it if it was right there in front of me every day lol and god knows how i would cope with having access to all those amusements for most of the year!

Tilly
08-08-08, 12:28 PM
see i like a gamble, but you just dont do it. i might take the boys on the rides once a week but when you live in it you just dont

wisewood
08-08-08, 12:30 PM
I think i'd have to pick a favourite game and just buy one to put in the house so i didnt waste thousands of pounds a year playing it in the arcades.

Tilly
08-08-08, 12:33 PM
thought that too but im not that addicted

wisewood
08-08-08, 12:34 PM
Oh i'm terrible if i find a game i like - or even one i'm not that fussed on but i get stuck at a certain point i will throw millions at it to beat it lol

Tilly
08-08-08, 12:43 PM
millions *cough*

wisewood
08-08-08, 12:50 PM
Millions of pennies, maybe.

Lauren
08-08-08, 12:55 PM
But a million pennies is still £10,000, so by my reckoning that still makes you quite rich. *sighs* lol

wisewood
08-08-08, 12:57 PM
And your point is?

£10,000 isnt that much lol

Lauren
08-08-08, 12:58 PM
And your point is?

£10,000 isnt that much lol

£10,000 is a lot of money to spend playing games!

Tilly
08-08-08, 01:00 PM
typical man lauren slightly exagerrating

wisewood
08-08-08, 01:01 PM
£10k is a lot of money to spend playing games in one go, depends what sort of period you're talking about. £10k in your life is nothing. £10k in a day is a LOT lol

hendrix
08-08-08, 01:27 PM

Lauren
08-08-08, 03:13 PM
you gotta do it yourself mate, the only way it will be done 'right'!

cheeky git, I make a wicked fry-up. Better than my boyfriend, who is a chef.

hendrix
08-08-08, 03:15 PM
haha. i actually meant so its done how you like it because people always do things different. Like at work when people make a brew, I always prefer it when its my turn cos I get it exactly how I like it

/end backpeddling lol

wisewood
08-08-08, 03:22 PM
I used to be a decent cook, but not as good as my other half, so since we got together she has done the vast majority of the cooking and as a result my cooking ability has shrivelled up considerably lol

Spudly
08-08-08, 03:23 PM
But doesnt the big book of wisewood contain any cooking tips though?

wisewood
08-08-08, 03:25 PM
of course. but the haynes manual tells me how to disassemble a nova but i still couldnt do it lol

Spudly
08-08-08, 03:26 PM

Haynes Engine removal procedure 1 Spanner:
1: Chock the wheels
2: Unbolt Engine
3: Remove Engine

Refitting is reverse of removal

Haynes Engine removal procedure 1 Spanner:

This is how its done isnt it? Or is there more to it? I did struggle with mine following this method.

hendrix
08-08-08, 03:38 PM
tbh thats pretty much it lol

Spudly
08-08-08, 03:40 PM
Surely an engine removal is a two spanner method, you need at least two spanners reading a haynes manual between them lol

wisewood
08-08-08, 03:40 PM
Pmsl!!!

hendrix
08-08-08, 03:41 PM
rofl

wisewood
08-08-08, 03:46 PM
I do remember a story once about a weekend session with a few PNG members in CP's barn stripping a nova to reshell i think, and after about 30 hours awake and working on the car Stuart was laying on the floor underneath the engine undoing a bolt and suddenly said "if i remove this last bolt what is stopping the engine falling on my head?"

"errrr nothing get out" was the reply from someone else.

So yes, at least two spanners needed.

hendrix
08-08-08, 03:48 PM
haha only slight fatigue then! lol

Spudly
08-08-08, 03:50 PM
Fcuk moo that wouldnt have been nice, face + engine = FAIL
(or at least lots of pain)

hendrix
08-08-08, 03:52 PM
and I thought wedging your arm between a dropped xe lump and a car hurt haha

wisewood
08-08-08, 03:56 PM
