Rip the old ones off and bond the new ones on.

That's what i would do.

If you find something which works well, let me know. Mine are ok but kinda peeling off at the back lol

Some paint thinners / turps should take it off

I had some on the side of my car from the sideskirt fitment, polished out no problem :)

TIgerseal is very very strong. Just use a small amount, and either use masking tape or some clamps to hold the trims on whilst it dries - allow about 24 hours to dry completely.

tbh the new gutter trims will actually slot into place quite comfortably and shouldnt need holding down. When using Tiger seal just spread a little along the gutter top then with your finger gently smooth it along the outer edge - that way you wont get a build up and theres emough adhesion to hold the gutter in place.

Make sure you get the right gutter! Theres a coupld of different sets (5 door/saloon are longer than 3 door)

originally the gutter trims were just held on with mastic, and if you need them off, they come off easy enough, once they're on with tigerseal, they wont come off anywhere near as easy lol

As Ade said, there'll be enough Tar stuff on the new Gutters and the edge of the roof to stick them on anyway. Heat the ttar stuff as this thins it and makes it more sticky. Fit them and Jobs a goodun.

Mmmmm, these things are getting Uber Rare these days, might do no harm investing in them to be honest, as if thats the end of them then they cant be gotten anymore.

TBH I'd be tempted to use new glue just to be on the safe side. The last thing you want is them to depart company with the car at speed - lets face it they'll need to withstand 100+mph winds.

Duick may be able to get some
