It's a RWYB (Run What You Brung) <---I didn't make up the spelling, it's how it is

This basically means that the 1/4 mile strip is open to the public. You pay ?9 to gain entry to Santa Pod raceway and an extra ?13 if you wish to drive your car up the 1/4 mile strip.

There won't be any stands, and there will be other cars/bikes/dragsters there. It all depends on the weather, but it should be a good day. Provided you get there early you should be able to get a couple of runs up the strip.

However, they will close the strip if the weather is bad and if there is a serious accident.

?9 isn't really alot of money just to spectate. I think the majority of us are going to meet eachother, and also see how much Dan can eat in an hour :p

Rob,
I plan to leave mine @ 7:00AM sharp if I go. I was planning on trying to meet jim @ J14 of the M1 at 8:15, but that would mean some serious speed round the M25!
Let me know what you plan on doing. Just caught weather tonight and from the looks of it sunday will be passing showers near pod, so hopefully we may get some runs in if it's only light showers :|

The weather report last night said gail force winds were bringing the rain across East Anglia and Central England, LOL.

We can only wait and see what Sunday brings...fingers crossed :D
