When ordering the inner cv's needed for the XE conversion, what year car do I tell the motor factors the car is? apparently there is 2 different types?

Just ask them for the number of splines, it should be in the book.

22spline inner end, 34 spline outer end.
Its rare to find them at a motor factors ive found, most are disconitnued due to the age of the donor car.

Ive never had any bother finding them from the motorfactors we used to use in the garage, could still get a service kit for 1978 bedford cf too lmao

I couldnt find them, and i work in a motorfactors, with have 3 surplyers of them and none can do them, they all come out big block both ends..
So even a cav owner is funked.

We even got a set of the local vaux dealers for a pretty good price, they got them through Obselete GM or similar.
