blue set of samco hoses for a xe nova, they were bought in a group buy of here a while ago, brand new never been fitted.

i dont know.
it was bought as an xe hose set. so its what ever that includes.
there are 8 hoses all toghether in the box, i dont know how many hoses aere in the engine bay.

Not happy with these hoses mate, are you sure these are XE fitment? Its like the one from the header tank to the plastic pipe behind the engine isnt no where near right and the longest thin 1 in the set doesnt match upto any hose in a nova XE bay

Made to fit with a standard header tank?

Not happy at all

i dont know what hoses are supposed to be included, i have never tried to fit them or even took them out of the box, which im sure is pretty evidnt from the condition of them. i sold the car and engine severalmonths ago so would not know how they are supposed to fit

Just wondering if you have the lead going from the coil to the distributor, not the dizzy type the coil pack one?

RSTChris - There are two different styles of plastic water pipe that go on the back of an XE with the outlets in different places, maybe you have the wrong one to suit this Samco kit!!

1: water, return that you t into the rad return from the bottom of the inlet manifold

2: water, bottom rad hose to balck plastic pipe

3: breather/oil, ICV to SFI box

4: water, top rade hoses to stat

5: breather oil, by the dipstick thingy to cam cover

6: pass, possibly some sort of breather

7: water, side of head to heater matrix

8: oil/breather, cam cover to TB

Well on the sensor on the end of the camshaft it has a three wired plug coming out of it! where does it go then?
