1.2i K&N not fitting

hi there

i bought a K&N from the internet and it doesn't fit on the carb :cry:

its too small, k&n said it would fit a 1.2 nova but mines a 1.2i and dont fit.

what size do i need for it too fit??

Its probably for a 1.2 carb nova.

I don't think K&N make one for the 1.2 SPI Nova, back in the day when I had an 1.2i I bought a Green air filter for it. Its not a carb on the car by the way, although it does kind of look like one, it houses a single fuel injector.

orite cheers, another fella on here said something about taking something from a 1.2i corsa to adapt the K&N, does anyone know what this is??

I thought the trick with 1.2 SPIs is to make an home made induction kit from the corsa spi induction system, then stick a high flow filter on it.

Yep, thats what was on mine when I got it, with some mahoooosive K&N type cone filter on lol lol

i got a k&n from a 2.8 sierra on my nova. just had 2 cut the hole out a little bit to make it fit then clamp it on and it works and sounds fine. so you could probably do the same with your filter

if its a pancake filter for a 1.2 ill buy it off you :)
