thinking about selling my xe, im after another mk1/2 escort so the nova has to go. she will need welding for the mot to the rear panel and on the inner wing.
spec -
Vauxhall Nova merit shell
engine gearbox etc from a 1989 mk2 astra gte coscast head
front blistein struts with gmax springs
rear gmax springs with standard struts.
full rear disc conversion
front v6 big brake conversion with drilled discs
superchipped ecu
astra gte steering wheel
4 branch manifold with full stainless, 3inch back box
15 inch vectra alloys with 195/45/15 tyres
rear vaux,gm,opel mudflaps
i had it rr at hi tec in cradley and it ran 158bhp but ive had people say they think its quicker than that and that there rollers are out. The lad i bought it off belived there was some kind of cams in it but i have no proof. i have a ****load of receipts mainly from when it was a 1.2.
has just had 2 new mint 2nd hand doors same colour (excellent coulour match) and new rear tailgate fitted. very minimal rust only abit on the bottom of front wings (surface) and where a plate has been welded on the n/s/r arch that is untidy but it all adds to the sleeper look. i have removed all the bump strips aswell and stripes off the bumpers.
car goes very very well as most xe owners know, rs turbos, type r's, bmw's vauxhall vxrs etc etc i ran a 14.8 second quarter mile at santa pod so inknow how well she goes.
currently has tax and mot till end of august on the log as a 2.0
