I recently got the 'bug' to do something with my standard Caddy van.

So i travelled to Doncaster to collect some wheels i bought off another website
They was is need of a refurb, so i removed the tyres and set about tidying them up.
Kerbing marks-

So then i painted the centres.

And stainless bolts fitted

Classic 80's style looks a hell of a lot better imo, pick-up of course!
Brings back memories of the early to mid 90's when everyone was slamming escort vans.

cut the back off :p
Caddy's are ace, I keep trying to buy the TDi one from work.
If you wanted to go a bit silly mk5 front pretty much bolts on ;) and the dash goes in, and the seats.

ah cool
That looks sweet
Looks top nathan! just needs a 150 bhp pd and 6 speed box!
Looks nice mate , needs some clear indicators , lightish tints n some smoked backlights for me :thumb: , oh yeh and your black roof
I like them with the Ibiza front end, its a good looking ride though
Nice van
Like a nicely done caddy (pick up more so)
There was a van at spring fest a few years ago (well most of the vw shows), mk2 cupra R front and engine, think it was something like 270bhp afterwards :)
I`ll try find pics if you want?
Oh and its a little more than "bolting on" a polo front :p the caddy is a touch wider than the polo, ibiza closely fits the "bolt on" comment
wants the bump strips off

hmmm, a Caddy is a Polo... and the only bit you need to change is the slam panel as said. See PVW (04/06) for details ;) and there I was thinking your a proper VDub freak! lol :p

*edit as linked to wrong caddy dimensions*
Cant find the dimensions for the mk2 caddy now, but they are wider than the polo, not by much, but enough to need more than a socket set to change over
Same as the polo 6kv, reason why you cant put the better looking front bumper from one onto the hatch
PVW lol
Why would you think i was a "proper VDUB freak"?????
Cos you have a 5dr mk2 golf and a polo coupe would be my guess lol
lol i have a dremel, a drill, a jigsaw and an orbital sander too, doesnt make me a "proper DIY freak" lol :p
The polo is a saloon btw ;) :)

Bit of an update.
Someone decided to key all the way down my van a few months back.
So i thought fook it, i'll respray it. The rear arches were bubbling and there was a few dents aswell, so good excuse to get it done really.
Not really got many work in progress pics.

Basically what it says, remove axle, turn it upside down, re weld all brackets the other way and retit. Lowers it by about 100mm.
