outer front edge to outer back edge. basically i want to know how much shorter it is compared to the 2/3 doors

Thats what I was thinking. I can measure mine when I get home but I need to know where exactly you want me to measure it?

Sorry, I went out on the lash last night and forgot. I measured it just above the door handle and it is exactly 37 inches across.
