Biggest bang for buck is Nitrous, but then other reliability problems arise.

Then there's turboing, dont really know anything about that....

Then there's the usual route (Cams, skimming, exhaust system.......basically making the standard engine quite lairy)

As stuart said, all about the budget and wether you really care about keeping the engine long.

still unsure weather to use r6 carbs or one of these megasquirt managerment? budget not maga bucks will be used everyday. what cams would be best. already got skimming, straight through exhurst (no cat or middle box) 2'' sorted. trying to get hold 4branch of a mate.

imho megasquirt + 285-300deg cam + headwork + manifold will mean a nice driveable car with tollerable fuel economy when wanted + about 120ish bhp.

When the one I have was sourced it was atleast 3 years ago, things have changed in terms of suppliers/kit etc so I'm far from the best person to ask lol. Odds on they havent fixed some basic errors in the electronics though which keep some of the costs artificially high.

Mj is ign only though.... and nearly the same cost as a megasquirt

And megasquirt is a far superior ecu(loads of different trigger wheel inputs etc)

You can get a megasquirt from the US(by will get hit with custom charges etc)
