It bloody leaks.

Decided this is the best place for this. My nova leaks and im not sure where, ive got puddles in the spare wheel well and under where the back seat would be (its removed) I know the sunroof dosnt leak and the spare wheel well im guessing its the boot seal. but what about where the rear bench is?
Anyone got any ideas?

what about the rear quarter window seals or do you have a beesting aerial. the water from the boot could easily get to the back seat.

i had a leak in one of my old novas similar to that at the back end.

turned out to be the seal between the body and boot, the rubber bunged bit that feeds wires and washer jet hose thru to boot, aswel as the bottom of the boot seal where it joins round on itself, body under it was rusted and the seal didnt sit properly so leaked there too.. u loosing any water in your washer bottle ?

best thing to do is take out rear 1/4 panels, sit in the back on the car and get someone to put a hose on the car from the top. Then test the rear washer jet. You'll soon find where its coming from.

My moneys the rear washer jet hose has come off - although this should drain out of the holes at the bottom corners of the boot.

not if its split inside the car, as said take as much of the back end of the car out, then put water over it, there could be a little hole but loads of water will get in

Your all wrong, Although i did have a leak before from the rear washer.

But its my own erm.... stupidty, as i decided i would find out what rust there was on the rear panel i cut it out didnt i...... What a mistake. water collects on the bumper and drains into the hole, and then runs along the seam. I shall be putting somthing over the holes soon tho.

Edit: The back of my car has nothing in it anyways, Just tools, parts etc. Ripped all the rear out for now.

I got someone to put the hose all over it and then as it came in i thought how stupid i was :roll:
