Stop Text typing.

Please identify what engine your car is. All it says is an 8v Luxe +. Is it an origional 1.2?

Take a lead off, put a spark plug in it. Leave it it on the rocker cover and start the car. If it sparks its not your ignition, more than likely fueling.

thank f*** for that it starts but its missing on 1 cylinder its the fourth from the dizzy cap and thanks you were both right i had no spark so i tested the volts running through the dizzy cap so i tested the coil and there was appears as if 1 maybe two were loose so i messed bout with them and it started but i went to start it later on but nothing so i switched the ht leads round and then it started no problem, all it needs is a backbox and bushes for the gear linkage now s thanks a lot for your help

Oil Burning at a rapid rate is down to the Valve stem Seals, did you fit a set?

Sloppy linkage is indeed due to worn Bushings, they're notorious for it so get yourself a second hand set.

Harness's. Sparco do a Clubman set that are pretty cheap, and they're 3 point so no major issues fitting them either.

No I Didnt Fit New Seals As I Thought That They Would Be Okay And Are The Bushes Hard To Fit? It Just Looks Like U Undo The Bolt And Slip It On Is The Only Bush Or Is There Any More I Can Replace While Im Under It
