just fit the rack from the nova lol
Its not the rack, its an electric coloumn Nick.
ooo sounds expensive. having said that im sure ive got a brand new column in the shed
I only paid £200 for a complete S reg Corsa its fitted too! Dont really want to buy a new column :(
Ive heard it could be the column bearing tho (£7.50)
i dont see how a bearing would affect it. sounds more to me as if a sensor has gone defunk and thats its not sencing you turning right
@rse, as it all runs off the columns ECU, so that could be funked :(

I believe this is a common EPAS problem. There was a company called 'Power Steering Services' in London who could repair them.
I have a mate who's a Vauxhall main dealer mechanic, I will ask him about it when I see him tomorrow.
Failing that most scrapyards I've dealt with will sell you a complete column for around £75.
You Sir, are a saint! + Rep for you :thumb:
I genuinely didnt know it was a common issue with the. So i take it it is the coloumn at fault judging by your reply?
