Can you get a standard rad fan to fit with an XE?

Going to be fitting my 20XE in the morning, I have a new radiator but I'm wondering if my standard 1.4 sr rad fan will fit? if not is there anything else I could rob the fan off?

i just used my 1.3sr rad and fan. its fine

yes it will but you need to move the rad forward slightly or at least tilt it forward.

Just go a scrappy, rob a £10 fan off a Air con rad, and cable tie it to the front of the rad.
Gives you loads more space around the exhaust manifold, and looks better.

Plus, a AC fan is mega powerful compared to the std nova one.

i've been looking at using a 16v petrol frontera one, they're front mounted an look like they'll fit, havent actually tried yet though lol. has to be 16v petrol though, diesel and 8v ones are engine driven IIRC
