SNOT- where dus it come from????

this question has puzzled me for a long time. I've just come back from holiday and i always seem 2 get a cold on returning home. Why??? and where the hell does all this snot come from? once i blown me nose it fills back up again :? anyway any ansa's wud b appreciated :lol:

You always get a cold when treturning form holiday due to the sudden change in air pressure and temperature. One day lovely and hot and high air pressure, next day cold as hell and low air pressure, causes your body to go a little out of whack.

Snot is a mucas which is secreted by a gland, designed to keep nasty stuff out of your body - carries bacteria and dirt etc out of your nose.

You can actually generate more mucus by drinking milk or eating dairy products. If you want a really big snotter go into a dusty room.

yer but when u breathe through your nose the little hairs catch the majority of dirt so i wudn't be as dirty in ya lungs
