Got MOT booked tomora morning at 9.

Spent most of today rushin round the car, poking holes through bits of rust I never knew exited. Isnt it always the case you inadvertaintly leave it too late.

anyway theres uncpainted underseal and primer everywhere, and I'm finally "ready".

Good that the tester is a mate of my dads, cause there's quite a few little pathetic niggles which would be a fail to a jobsworth....

Nah, stuff like no rear belts due to no rear seats etc...heard some testers get shirty about that kinda thing when it's suppose to have rear seats and belts.
It's definately roadworthy. I wouldnt expect anybody to pass anything that wasnt roadworthy Andy!

Nah I havent undersealed over rust, not THAT daft and pikey. Welded the parts which I poked through. Been doing a lot of body work recently, then suddenly realised how close it was to MOT time, so it looks a bit like a patchwork quilt at the moment.

Sorry for creating a pointless thread Mike, was a little bored. Have to admit dont really know why people want to know, but hey.

Just for anyone who might be interested, including AW06...

It passed.....FLYING COLOURS!

Tester actually felt he had to advise something on such an old car (his words were "which rock did ya get that from under??" lol) so he advised I cut off the brake disc sheilds to make the brakes cool a bit better...

He also said it went like a little rocket.....which is nice considerin he drives an Aston lol

Had my first drive on road in it today (insured today learning) and quite impressed how "nippy" it is
Dont worry, wasnt braying it, just impressed how it picks up well.....drove a 1.4 Mini last week in a lesson, effing gutless i tell ya!
