Anyone gone to see it yet?
We went last night and it was absolutely amazing.
Like the first one, the end leaves it open and obvious enough for the next one.
The joker is played amazing.
The only thing that started to bug me towards the end was Batman's voice lol

Hrmm.

Overall, it was good. I'm not going to say it was the most amazing film I've ever seen, because... well, it wasn't. lol




A few things that annoyed me was aforementioned Christian Bale's "Batvoice", which did seem to get progressively worse throughout. They also didn't seem to make much of two face, spent almost the entire movie working up to him being a great bad guy, then just killed him off too easily. I did like Joker's little foibles and mannerisms, him as the nurse actually worked quite well, but the lack of, or confusion about his past just lent him to be a rather flat, 2-dimensional character. Plus, leaving him hanging around for SWAT at the end makes me think they were trying to leave it open for him to return in a later movie. Which obviously isn't going to happen now lol




Sooo... yeah, it was great but not the best movie I've ever seen. Would still recommend going to see it though, Heath Ledger is indeed excellent as the Joker and makes good of what is, at times, a pretty poorly written character.

Excellent film!.

Definitely worth going to watch (at the cinema).

The joker was awesome.

The batman voice did my head in!
