Quaife 32G 6 Speed Sequential Dog Gearbox with many extras, and Vauxhall fitment bellhousing

If anyone is feeling (very) flush, I am reluctantly putting my Quaife sequential gearbox up for sale.

This is the ultimate Front Wheel Drive gearbox and comes with other parts, that I was planning to fit into my Vauxhall Nova rally car. To buy just the gearbox with lever and LSD from Quaife you would need to spend £12,000 approx. That is without the driveshafts and other parts which I am also selling as part of this auction.

Due to other financial commitments, my Nova (which was being built to the ultimate specification) is being 'downgraded' to a more realistic spec.
This is what is for sale;

A complete Quaife sequential dog gearbox (32G model). The gearbox was previously fitted into a wide-track Corsa B rally car, and comes with various parts for installation into a similar vehicle.

This is a 6 speed gearbox, featuring straight cut gears with open face dog engagement. It features a compact drum type sequential design for faster shifting. The clutch release mechanism is of the hydraulic type. It has a driveshaft extension tube allowing the use of equal length driveshafts (2 sets of which are being sold with the gearbox).

Ge ar ratios are;

1st - 2.615
2nd - 1.937
3rd - 1.611
4th - 1.350
5th - 1.160
6th - 1.044

The gearbox has a ZF plate LSD fitted, and a 4.8 CWP (4.857 to be precise).

It comes with a Vauxhall bellhousing, so is suitable for Nova, Corsa, Kadett, Astra FWD etc. models

All parts required for fitment are included e.g. remote mounted sequential gear lever, 2 pairs of driveshafts with Lobro type CV joints (to suit wide track Corsa B), mounting brackets (to suit Corsa B), spare gearbox casings, spare gears, spare ATB LSD, lightweight flywheel for the C20XE engine and AP paddle clutch to suit. There is also a spare gear lever assembly of a different design.

The gearbox has recently been inspected and overhauled by Quaife (with paperwork).

The new cost of the gearbox alone is in excess of £12k. As you will from the description above, there are many other parts coming with the gearbox, essentially everything needed to fit it into a car.

Note that this is the Quaife 'universal' gearbox, so with the correct bellhousing it can be fitted to other makes and models.

===============================================

Bear in mind that this gearbox costs £12k from Quaife, and I will be selling it with 2 pairs of driveshafts, mountings and various other bits, so the total cost to replicate this spec. would be in the region of £13-£14k. So, it obviously isn't going to be given away.

I will be looking to achieve a price of somewhere around £5k for the gearbox with all the fitting bits I have for it.

If you don't know what this is, or what it can do, then this is not for you, this is the ultimate in (affordable) front wheel drive transmissions.
