1.6 8v

has any1 had problems with a 1.6 8v cav engine, with the breather puttin oil into the carb? ive disconnected it and just put into breather filter what puts oil out.

Sounds like its breathing too heavily.

I'd suggest cleaning out all the breather pipes & renewing the gauze under the rocker cover as they may be blocked, but I fear a leak down test might show up knackered rings which are resulting in blow-by & excess crank case pressures are pushing more gases through the breather system.
