new brakes

ive just fitted some new calipers and discs on my nova.they are astra calipers and drilled and grooved discs, they came off a nova and i was told they would fit staright on!they are all bolted on and in place but no matter how many times ive bled them tonight and this afternoon there still seems to be either a huge air lock or do i need a bigger servo?can someone please help me.

servo wont change a damn thing..... its like power steering. Unless you physically cannot press the pedal without it, you dont need it

Ill put a tenner on the fact you've put the wire clips on wrong pal. Put a pic up so we can have a look.

Try a trick i got from my brother and it worked. Put a bit of wood or something on the pedal to push it down overnight, sorted my problem of not being able to bleed them right.

If theyre bled right a small amount of air wont feel like a 'massive air lock'. They might just be a bit spongey.

My money is firmly on the clips. If theyre not fitted right the pressure from the piston pushes the front part of the calliper out instead of gripping the disc.

So what are the symptoms?

No pedal?

Have you put the calipers on the wrong way around?

Bleed nipples should be on top...

well thare are brakes but about an inch from the floor?and no matter how many times i bleed them it doesnt help!
