Weirdest Nova Noise

As my Nova sounds like a 'light sabre on heat' I was just wondering...

Whats the strangest/loudest/weirdest noise to come out of a Nova?

Lol, wen i had a hole in my backbox, my m8's sed it sounded like the car was farting! little did i tel em that was me! :wink:

mine used to whistle when I accelerated hard - had a leak on carb - sounded like a parrot was under the bonnet!

Now it just pinks and clicks

The worst noise ever is the sound of the fanbelt slipping.

Hurrendous screeching noise, turns more heads than a brunette in Sweden.

You feel like a right arse too, until you replace it that is. :)

On that note, Throttle Bodies, a decent K & N / PiperX air filter and a full sytem 4 1/2" zorst can make quite a racket aswell.

my horn used to sound like a swan (cos it wasnt bolted on) just sitting on the side of the engine bay.

And i'll second the fanbelt idea, shit noise.

LOL, should of made that clearer, i wasn't talking about on the same car obviously, just indiv. things that can make a racket.

my handbrake cable is currently rattling on my exhaust which is a horrible noise. It usualy happens at low revs and then at high Revs the exhaust sometimes vibrates agaisnt the chassi...Oh what fun :x

my old SR that I had used to sound fine until I turned a right hand bend then it would make a noise like a playing card in the spokes on a bike!!! it was the wheel bearing or something!
