im thinking of puttin a red top in my little beast, however iv'e been looking at insurance groups cus they base your policy on what the engine came from, the sri 150 2.2 engine from a vectra b sri is group 12, whereas the redtops are all group 14. so how easy is the 2.2 to fit? similar power and slightly more torque:cool:

I know that youll need programable engine management, and youll be a bit on your own with wiring, as theyre wont be many guides etc.. Same applies to parts needed for the conversion.
If its your first transplant - go for the 2.0 XE. Sooo many parts readily available.

You use the existing nova mounts for a 1.6 16v.
