i closed my account but then after losing my phone a few weeks back it was the only way i could get in touch with my mate in the navy quickly

Meh, it all depends on how you use it.

It only sends 50+ emails a day if you tell it to. It only fills your profile full of crap if you allow it. Pages are relatively "clean" compared to myspazz, plus I don't get random bands and suchlike trying to add me as a friend/spam me because I'm "friends" with another band or person, as per the norm on myspazz.

However, you can't beat hot or not and faceparty for some old skool stalking lol

hmm, i'm with jack here, i use if for keeping in touch with old friends and such like, as long as you don't add too much of the crap to your profile it's ok.
Petrolhead got addictive for a while, and south park create-a-character kept me good for ages (how sad!)

I registered over Christmas;
but I couldn't work out how it worked after that so gave up and have not even been near the place since.lol
But its not really my kind of thing the whole social networking bullpoo.

Aye, a couple of the apps are quite entertaining. I have a handful of puzzle ones on there to keep me entertained when bored, bust most of it is kept off my profile.

I also delete most notifications without even looking at them lol

I quite like it, I use it to keep in touch with a few friends that are travelling. But it is really slow!

To be fair though, thats not a problem with Facebook itself (aside from the speed, although I find it pretty quick, faster than myspazz), more the (cr)Apps that are written for it.

I <3 Facebook, show off all your great nights out. Plan nights out. Friends with people you never thought you'd see again. Also allows you to be uber nosey. You know when so and so have broken up with Mr X, when they're together. lol

I like facebook. Gives me a nice convenient place to mms my pictures to, which can then swap about into albums and share with friends/family. Handy way to keep in touch, and its easy to find friends of friends, old mates etc who you might not have an email address for.

Yes, some of the apps are a bit crap, but thats because they're developed by users of facebook in most cases, and they're hosted by the person who developed it, hence some of them run slowly and crash etc.

I use it but as said above, only to keep in contact with old mates from school and mates abroad

The mobile upload photo albums are what i use more than anything else on there, by a long way.

Take picture on phone > Send > Lookup "Facebook" (mobile@facebook.com) in my contacts > OK. Done. (this was after setting up my facebook account with the mobile application which is a proper facebook developed one). About as convenient a way to get a pic online as there is. Its actually easier than the "blog this" option that is built into my phone anyway.

I use it to keep tabs on old mates etc but don't have a clue how to use some [read 99%] of the apps lol

99% of the apps are completely pointless anyway. There is a million ways to buy and sell your friends ffs. Pointless having tww, or even one... let alone all the different variations on the theme.
