Need to do a bit more panel work, but am having problems getting the parts.

Need boot area, some floor panels and inner front wings and inner rear quaters, every company i call, keeps on saying that the manufactures they use list them parts anymore... the local vaux dealer is less then helpful and probably will want a arm, a leg,and an eye for good measures.

I got hold of these panels for a mate about 10-12 months ago, but the auto shop i used then has gone under, bugger!!!

Does anybody know of any internet panel dealers???

Cheers..

I had to make my floor and inner wings up because every panel supplier I went said they don't do them any more.

thats alot of work - it might be quicker/easier to get another shell and transplant bits.

Even if the new shell was a little rusty on the edges, the work youre currently doing is going to need respray etc so it will prob work out cheaper.

i hear what you are saying about it being a lot of work, but me and this little nova have been together for so many years (6 i think) that i owe it to her.

A lot of my mate`s are sprays by trade so that`s not so much of a problem, and i`m fairly handy with a welder so it`s no real try of skills, but it is just a bit of a slaver and usually a timely job.

It will be hard work to get her back to her former glory, but when she’s finish it will be like new.

Even if I tryed to get a good new one there still would be some work to do, so why not crack on with the one I have??

Mate I am well happy to hear that I am not the only person who doesn’t mine do that little bit extra to get a good nova....
