X14XE Altinator Bracket

I dont have one, and i'm wondering what everyone else is using?

you can use a 8v mpi bottom pulley (V-belt) along with alternator bracket ect (might have to make an adjuster)

or if there is clearance you can use the normall multi v set-up. if you have nothin you will need the alternator bracket (has tensioner built in) from a corsa x14xe non power steering and non aircon. along with the std 16v bottom pulley. these tensioners/brackets can be found on other corsa's aswell. even alot of corsa c's have the correct one, off one of these you will need on thats come off a small block with eps and aircon...

Wide bolt was almost rubbing my chassis leg so i ditched that idea.

I used a nova sri bottom pully(single v with crank sensor pickup)
And a Corsa 1.2i 8v late Single V alternator and bracket.
I had to make up a tensioner from some Escort alt lever i found in the scrappy(basically just cut a slot in it with a grinder)

Have you got a pic of it? I'm not going to be stuck but if I can build it with stuff I have in the garage, all the better!!

Aye, apparently a nova bracket fits if you fit it on backwards(so the "s" shape is the other way round)

So a 1.2 Carb item should do the Trick? I also have a 1600 SPI laying around.

Must actually Take a look and weigh it up. Nothing done tonight as I was making the house Pikie proof as they seem to be around lately.

Adam, now you're here, what size is the Rubber Grommit that the loom sits into when going through the Bulk head? I wanna guess 50 to 60mm.
