NEED a low compression bottom end ..

E16SE. anyone have a bottom end ready for turbo charging?

if not anybody got the pistons? or piston rings ? for the e16se?

having real trouble finding them. need the parts as i go on holiday on wed, and wouldn't mind returning home to a nicely running nova.

oh Adam you beat me too that 115bhp 1.6 8v shiny engine for 300 quid too, guess thats to replace your broken low compression one? >.<

There is no such thing as a 'low comp 1.6'......

'lower' then. I mean looking for a bottom end thats had different pistons in it, so i can get rid of the 2 gaskets/1 spacer plate solution. And i need new rings anyway, was going to buy new pistons but they way to expensive. So im repairing the 1.6 8v turbo. If it goes pop again.. its red top for 300 quid solution. Going on holiday enjoy British weather lol.
