Yea i hope it will. Going to get a few bits aswell for my gsi engine, like polished rocker cover and oil cap and maybe bailey header tank and so on :)

Well it depends if you really want "carbon" or a carbon look, or eve alloy, as i did make a few scuttle covers a while back, still have the one i did for mine, not that i can use it any more lol
So im quite sure it's easy enough to make one in carbon look.

Little update, front wings are painted. Indicator holes filled and smoothed, pics to follow either later on tonight or tomoz :)

Yea mate i am, well panels were £400, Paint was £200, Compomotives £200, Gsi front bumper £125, Coilovers £250, Hid's £150, Gsi Interior £125... And the list goes on...
Should be cool mate, well that the idea. Don't see many Miami blue nova around, especially in this condition. :thumb::)

Ah right. What colour are the wheels going? Just be advised white are a pain to keep clean. Had exact same wheels and the brake dust just killed them, litterally had to be cleaned every couple of days. I left them too long and never managed to get them back up to scratch
Wheels are goin Glacier white, yes i know have heard this from alot of people but we'll see how it goes. If it gets to dirty as you say you were cleaning every 2 days i may do them Anthracite, but thats just a maybe.

I have a brake cleaner at work, used it on my corsa d spare the other day and it came up brand new! Think ill give that a go when they get dirty. :thumb:
I used t-cut on my alloys when they got really bad, it was an improvement but theres still not that good. matt black ftw! won't ever have to worry about cleaning them lol

Personally I wouldn't fit them to my car, as when it rains and the heat off the lights 'react' the protectors steam up making the light about 1/2 which isn't good or safe
Would be OK for a show-car though

Gsi servo + Master cylinder, again got sent today by vx kev, should clean up well and will prob respray the servo anyway.

Not sure to be honest matey, as far as the paintwork it self, its done pretty much, just need to do the door handles and mirror covers and she'll be all ready to put back together, ill be down there to do all that. So expect alot of pics :thumb: :D

Rack it self is either going miami blue, or silver.
The rods are going silver, and i am getting new track rod ends and gaitors - may look on ebay tonight. :D

Well all of the outside of car is painted, bar the roof, boot and bonnet all of which havent faded one bit. Looks spot on, but if im not happy with it when i get it back the old man says he'll do them too, which if that happens, ill be gettin a mk1 bonnet without badge and an early tailgate without wiper hole and washer jet hole and grab handle :thumb:

Dropped my Mo's off to my Dad today as well as the strut brace. Sold my Cesaro's, and the money i have from them i bought 4 of these.

Set up the hid's again
Fit my headlight protectors
Fit my strut brace
Fit my cav steering wheel
Fit my ht leads and spark plugsAnd take my camera and get a sh1t load of pics :)

Done handles black a while ago and was not happy with the finish, i wanted some non faded handle's but had no luck, so blue it was.

IMO it would be to much body colour your car looks smart with the original colour bumpers

Colour coded bumpers would look quite smart imo. Would definately need a white stripe in them and the handles, fuel cap, window surrounds etc painted grey to break up the blue a bit.

I have come to see that CC'ing is best kept to GTE's and GSi's or maybe any nova that falls into there colors black/white/red etc
Any none GSi/GTE nova with it done just ends up looking silly, think how stupid a base blue,or burgundy GSi rep would look! lol

Got my plugs and leads fitted
Cars rad went on tuesday so i ordered a gsi one and got it fitted.
Got my strut brace fitted, will prob keep it black for now.
Headlight protectors fitted am chuffed with these.
Just a quick note, theres a few things that need doing, some bits need flattening and a damn good polish but its nearly there. Roll on combe!

Needs the drums painting black and the center of the discs doing too, but is looking damn good dude.

looking good jay but imho you need to change the fuel cap and door handles back to standard colour.
Thats just my oppinion at the end of the day its upto you bud.
I know qhat you mean Chris, door handles came out sh1t so its a possability they may get done gloss black or anthracite.
Looking good fella. Just needs those few finishing touches and it'll be spot on. And get the engine bay cleaned! Needs a bloody good de-grease by the looks of it! ;)
Cheers Matt, engine bay will be getting stich welded when i do wht engine change, so will be getting a bay re-spray anyway, and im going to try and clean up every component under the bonnet :)

yeh, but maybe some skirts too, looks a bit green on ther side, or as Ad says maybe balch handles n fuel cap?
Skirts are a no no, dont want them, tryed to find a mint set and failed. Fuel cap, door handles and boot grab handle are going Toyota dark grey (anthracite.)
