Nova Sport Exhaust

Hi, I recently got a look round a MK1 1.4 SR Nova with a genuine ashley red back box, and I liked the noise from it, I've never heard the same sort of noise from other aftermarket back boxes. Can these still be bought from ashley? Or are they discontinued?

Ah, yeah I knew it was Nova Sport back box. I have a mk2 Nova, I know it wouldn't exit properly but I had thought of making it exit nicely and maybe spray it black. Just an idea.

They have a great sound, mate bought one for his 87 SR a few years back when the local dealer was clearing its stock. Sounded great on that, not like any other backbox at the time(Peco, janspeed etc)

Yeah thats what I meant, the sound really stood out as being different from the usual bwarp/barble! Just a nice rasp when you wanted it.

The Ashey Sport back boxes are probably really expensive though.

when ashley used to sell direct on ebay i seen them sell the genuine sport backbox for £100 buy it now...
