ok i know for the best sound repo u should have the speakers bolted to a nice thick piece of wood or summat
so im planning on getting a set of 6x9's prolly 3 way pioneers
unfortunately the saloons rear deck is 2mm fibre board with 1mm sheet steel underneath
so my first idea was to rip out the 2mm fiber board and replace it with 8mm mdf BUT im still gonna have to cut larger holes in the steel
is this safe? - its not a structural support or anything?
would this be the best way to go about a saloon rear shelf?
